Future Exhibits

North Ayrshire Action proposes that the Millennium Building on the Ardeer Peninsula, Irvine formerly the home of ‘The Big Idea Inventor Centre’ be redeveloped into an innovative world-leading gallery. The project would be called ‘The Living Art Gallery.’ Through the use of new technology, uniquely engaging exhibits would be created and The Living Art Gallery would provide opportunity for new artists and local people to access the facilities for education, leisure and work.

The uniqueness for the Gallery is the totally new innovative introduction of holographic spectral imagery. This would show historical figures, artists, sculptors, inventors, etc., in 3D life size format completing their works of art. The paintings and other items featured would have full audio effect with explanations being given by the historical figure describing what was being created.

 

 

Unlike other galleries and museums such as Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, Gallery of Modern Art, Burrell Collection etc., that all feature static exhibits, The Living Art Gallery would come to life through spectral imagery, created in 3D life size format, where the exhibits move and speak as if alive.

The Gallery would feature Artists, Craftsman, Writers, Filmmakers, Actors, and all manner of performers and artisans.
